In the creative district of Sévelin in the centre of Lausanne, Artefax is a space dedicated to well-crafted sound.

It is flooded with light and its layout fosters exchanges. This creates a special synergy between the professionals who work there.

Artefax is a versatile studio.

Creation, show rehearsals, residencies, pre- and post-production, the space is used in a variety of ways depending on the specific needs of each project.

It is also a tool that enables artists to prepare and experiment with stage-related aspects, to develop their technique, and progress in the artistic aspects of the show they are working on.

Studio 1 includes a large control room, equipped with a Protool HDX and a large collection of professional equipment, as well as four sound recording rooms with different acoustics (all the rooms are in visual contact through glass). Musical instruments are made available by members of the association (piano, electric piano, guitar and bass amps, synthesizers, drums, and percussion).

Studio 2 includes a control room equipped with a ProTools HD3 +D-Command and a collection of prestigious analogue peripherals, as well as a sound recording booth that is very well insulated from the rest of the facilities. The latter can be used for pre-production, mixing, voice recordings, overdubs, etc.
